Elisha Niebuhr
I’m a New York native and a Colorado lover who has lived in the Front Range since 1999. I originally moved to Denver to dance with the Colorado Ballet (a little bit artistic), eventually finished my schooling at the University of Denver with a Masters in Public Policy (a desire to help people), all while working in various degrees of sales and management (a passion for business). I settled down in Colorado Springs with my husband Dan and our daughters, Madison and Saige. Modern Interior Staging Company is the full expression of who I am, melding artistry, public-spiritedness, and business together into a full time occupation I enjoy.
If there is one thing I am doing in my free time, it is redesigning or decorating homes. My husband and I have invested in various properties over the years that I have staged to sell or staged as vacation rentals. I enjoyed the process and received feedback that this was something I should pursue as a career. Plus, our homes sold quickly!
Staging is a field that doesn’t have a “degree’ requirement, but many classes are offered online. I completed a course by Cindy Lin of Staged 4 More, a successful home stager and business owner based in San Francisco, which has guided me through the process of making my dream a reality. Additionally, I am HSR certified through Home Staging Resources, and a RESA-PRO member (Real Estate Staging Association).
With my eye for design, and my organized and precise approach to business, I will provide you with professional staging services that bring you top dollar offers in the sale of your home.

Cheryl Brill
I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from Calvin University with a BA in Business Administration. After college, my husband and I lived in Minneapolis for almost 24 years, where we raised our two sons. A job change for my husband brought us to Colorado Springs in 2018 and I love the climate, the mountains, skiing, and the lifestyle Colorado has to offer!
I have always loved design and decorating my home to make it a warm and welcoming place for my family and friends. This, along with my experience working as a visual merchandiser for a clothing store, and a desire to help others, offers the skills needed to help you stage your home. Aesthetics and relationships are important to me and I would love to work with you to get your home ready to sell and make it look great!
Jimena Bodegas
I grew up in a small town in the south of Mexico. In 2009, I moved to Mexico City to pursue my degree as an Industrial Designer. I stayed in Mexico City for 7 years working in the field of construction development design. In this role I worked closely with architects and was able to practice interior design, making me realize how much I love and enjoy it!
In 2019 my husband got relocated for his job and we moved to Colorado Springs. Following my passion for interior design I started working at Modern Interior Staging Company. I’ll love to enhance all the great things your house has to offer and help you receive as many offers as possible!
Katie Paris
I am originally from Wisconsin and moved to Colorado Springs in 2018 to begin my professional career in social work, working at several local community agencies. I have always had a passion for art and design, and pursued artistic and design hobbies on the side. I have since made the transition into creative roles through my role with Modern Interior Staging Company and teaching pottery classes at a local art studio. I find so much value in connecting with my community and it brings me joy in helping design a beautiful stage for a family’s home.
My goal in interior design is to make a home feel inviting by finding the best combination of elegant and cozy. I look forward to making your home as beautiful as can be!
